Hello nerds
So I really liked making the AB/AP song posters last time, so I made some more for Pretty. Odd by panic at the disco (yes I know it's old, but I only recently discovered it and really like it). So here they are.

American Beauty/American Psycho

Hello nerds.
It's been a while since I've posted, and I don't have an explanation as to why. Though I do know that I will be posting more stuff related to bands and the hobbit (thanks, lewis) more often now, since those are the two fandoms I've gotten into while I've been away
On the other hand, Fall Out Boy got a new album! (ik that happened in January and this is April but hey). And I've seen hipsters posting a lot of stuff for album art for every song on the album. So, here's my take on American Beauty/American Psycho.

What do you think?
Much love

Internet Celebrities Who Are Doing It Right

So as you may know, a lot of youtube celebrities and vine stars have become know for being bad people. I am not going to name any ones in particular, but I would like to say that this stereotype for internet celebrities is terrible. So, if you are like me and are sick of finding people hate and discriminate on the internet, I have made a list of you tubers who will make you feel good.

1) The Third Pew

The Third Pew is one of those people who understands and respects morals. Many of his videos are intended to make you laugh, but also a handful talk about serious topics. He is best known for his response to Nash Grier, Cameron Dallas, and JC Caylen's video about 'What they look for in girls' which you can watch here:

2) Savannah Brown

Savannah Brown is a true genius with words. Although she does not have a lot of videos, the ones she does have are really beautifully crafted. She is best known for her slam poem about loving yourself which you can fine here:

3) IISuperwomanII

IISuperwomanII is one of my all time favourites. Majority of her videos are made for comedy purposes, which achieve all their goals and every single one of them is hysterical. She also on the occasion does inspiring videos, but for the majority, she is a comedian.

A funny video:

An inspiring video:

4) OnlyLeigh

OnlyLeigh is a phenomenal cartoon artist that makes a wide variety of gut busting short cartoons that are mostly fandom related. She is also the creator of one of my favourite all time youtube clips, mean elves, which you can watch here:

5) Vlogbrothers
Vlogbrothers consist of brother John and Hank Green (yes, THE Hank Green from Hank Green and The Perfect Strangers, and yes, THE John Green, the writer of TFIOS, Looking For Alaska, and many more great books). They make short videos that are educational, inspiring, and hilarious all at the same time.

One of John's videos:

One of Hank's videos:

I need to go read a book,
See you later.

Happy Birthday Tom: Reasons We Love Loki

Who's birthday is it today?

That's right, it's Tom Hiddlestons Birthday. And in honour, I decided to make a list of the top 5 reasons we love Loki!

The god of mischief for some reason holds a place in all of our hearts. It's not normally the villains that catch our attention, but in this case, Loki has all of us kneeling to his command. Why?

1) The Bad Boy Affect - We all know what this is. That one boy who we know we shouldn't like but for some reason captures our attention any way. The bad boy affects is known to melt the hearts of girls everywhere, and Loki just happens to be the ultimate bad boy of nerdom.

2) Sibling Rivalry - Loki was always over shadowed by his older brother, which is something many of us can connect to. And with our instinct to fix the broken, Loki uses his tragic back story to win our attention.

3) The Scrawny-British-Boy Affect - Breaking news, not all women and men are into buff, over the top, muscular men, and who doesn't love an English boy (for example, Phil Lester and Dan Howell).

4) Anti-Hero - An anti-hero is defined as 'a central character in a story, movie, or drama who lacks conventional heroic attributes.' Loki hits all of these criteria.

5) Cute? - I don't fully understand this one, but many people just want to hug him...Beats me.

So happy birthday T Hiddles. Keep slaying!

Let's Have Halloween on Christmas: Lewis' Ultimate Guide To Not Be Scared While Watching Horror Movies

I was listening to one of my favourite Blink-182 songs, 'I Miss You', when I heard the lyric 'And we'll have halloween on Christmas'. I thought about how it feels like Halloween was only yesterday, even though it's almost the new year. So in honour of a great band, and of me completely denying the fact that it's almost 2015, I decided to make this post a throw back to Halloween.

When I think of Halloween I think of horror movies. The idea of this is great to some people, but intimidating to others, and as someone who isn't totally cool with horror movies, I thought I would make:

Lewis' Ultimate Guide To Not Be Scared While Watching Horror Movies

1) Happy Music
What I find the most scary about horror movies is the suspense. I'm fine with the gore and all that, but when they use scary music to build up to the scares, I get more scared about what's going to happen, then I am scared when it actually happens. Something I thought that might help you with this is to play happy music quietly to divert your attention.
When looking for good music you are looking for a few key things:
-No sad music
-No screaming
-Nothing live
-Something with happy lyrics
-Upbeat tempo
-Basic/genuine voices
-No creepy instrumentals
-A song you actually like
Some kinds of music that you could look for are:
-Things with 4 on the floor beats
-Pop (good pop, of course)

I made a playlist to get some ideas:

2) I'm not sure what movie watching systems you can do this on but you can sure do it on Netflix. Scroll through the whole movie quickly, and mentally take note at times where you see something that might scare you, so you can casually look away.

Me scrolling throughout the Princess Bride on the small screen (yes I am watching the Princess Bride, even though it's not a horror movie)

3) Don't watch it when you're alone!

4) Don't watch right before you go to sleep, because that's when you tend to me most paranoid.

5) Check to see if you have any appliances running such as a dryer, washer, dishwasher, ect. If one of these are on and you are not aware of this, it makes it more creepy when you hear them. All these appliances make noise, and if you don't know where the noise is coming from, your imagination tends to kick in.

6) Don't watch in complete silence.

and finally...

7) Watch the movie because you want to watch it.

That's all!
Have a happy and safe new year.
